Get the most out of your documents with Microsoft Office 365 Personal

All of us need Microsoft Office to create or access documents, however each person uses it in a different way. While some need to use it on multiple devices, there are people that just want to install Office on a single device and use it whenever they see fit. Microsoft has thought of this category and it wants to help such users by launching Microsoft Office 365 Personal, a type of subscription created specifically for those users that don’t need the more expensive solutions.

In order to gain access to the Microsoft Office 365 Personal solution you will need to pay around $70 each year, and through the service you will receive complete access to a full version of Office 2013 for the Windows platform, as well as complete access to the iPad version.

As you would expect, Microsoft Office 365 Personal brings you Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, OneNote and Access. What’s interesting here is that despite using an online service, Microsoft Office 365 Personal successfully manages to provide you with all the necessary office apps that you might need without any issue.

While there aren’t any improvements whatsoever when it comes to the interface or any new features, the applications load extremely fast and thanks to OneDrive you will have complete access to your documents whenever you want. This is a great deal from a portability standpoint and the fact that you pay less is the icing on the cake.

What makes Microsoft Office 365 Personal different from the Home version is the fact that despite having access to the same applications, you will only be able to install the Office suite on a single device, no matter if it is a PC, tablet or Mac.

In fact, this is the only difference that you can find between the two versions, otherwise the functionality and performance remains pretty much the same. You will still get the unlimitted GB of storage and the 60 world minutes for Skype, which in our opinion is a very good deal!

It’s important to state here that Microsoft Office 365 Personal runs incredibly well on an iPad, so if you are a fast typer or you just want to check out office files on your tablet you should try to install it. We think that Microsoft Office 365 Personal is very useful for people such as freelancers that need the Office suite but don’t use more than a single device.

Overall, we found Microsoft Office 365 Personal as being almost identical to the Home version, which is a great thing, because that version is simply stunning from a productivity standpoint. The Word app works great, with writing and reading being very easy to perform, Excel has lots of interesting math and engineering functions that you will enjoy and, of course, you also get OneNote, Power Point and Access, among many other features. Are you in need of Office but want to install it only on a single device? Then Microsoft Office 365 Personal is the perfect subscription for you, and we recommend you to try it!
