Myanmar=Bamar

The words Myanmar and Bamar are the same. The word Myanmar is the
formal, written version, and the word Bamar is the informal, spoken
version.


The Mya Sedi Kyauksar (the Mya Sedi Stone Inscription) had four sides,
where four languages -- Pali, Mon, Pyu and Myanmar -- were inscribed.


Pali is a dead language [Indo-Aryan language (prakit)] from India.


Mon is a living language (Astroasiatic language), the script of which
is derived from Indian Brahmi script and is the source of the Burmese
script.


Pyu is the name for the dead language of the Pyu people swallowed up
by the Bamar.


Myanmar is a Tibeto-Burman language (a branch of Sino-Tibetan language
family, the other branch being Chinese). The script of Myanmar is
derived from Mon Script.


According to this inscription, Myanmar and Mon are different races.
Myanmar does not include Mon. Mon does not include Myanmar.


Zomi (Chin) people have never been Myanmar. Zomi and Myanmar are
different races.


In schools, Myanma-sar is taught. Myanmar-sar is the language of the
Myanmar/Bamar people. Myanmar-sar is not the language of Zomis,
Kachins, Shans, Mons, Kayins and Kayahs. They have their own
languages.


The policy to include Mon, Zomi, Kachin, Kayah, Shan, Kayin, etc. in
the Myanmar race is a recent Maha Bamar hegemonism promoted
shamelessly by the un-educated and cunning SLORC and SPDC.


Shan belongs to the Tai group of the Tai-Kadai language family.
